POD (Print on Demand) is a versatile, one stop print-copy centre offering a wide range of services to University of Queensland staff and students. Located within the University of Queensland bookshop, POD provides high quality print-copy solutions within a flexible, education focused environment. We aim to offer efficient solutions allowing university students and staff access to high quality printing services. Merging the quality products and services provided in a commercial print environment, with the demands of fast paced educational institutions allows for a perfect business / customer relationship. We understand the specific needs that are required within an educational environment; recognising the importance of maintaining a consistent and professional appearance.
Printing from home can be more expensive than you realise; pod removes the hidden costs associated with printing at home, providing an easy and cheap alternative.
Our services are primarily directed towards students and staff of the University, however we are always happy to cater for the general public. With a shift towards online content within educational institutions, we have designed an innovative new system that has revolutionised the industry. Students can now quickly and easily access and print their online course materials using pod Express. podExpress is a self service facility, allowing customers to access files on their USB thumb drives or online content for printing to our printers.
Separating the low volume internet jobs from our high volume or labour intensive jobs allows us to offer a quicker, easier and cheaper service.
